Chelsea are reportedly set to complete the transfer of talented young Brazilian full-back Denner Evangelista this weekend.
According to Fabrizio Romano, posting from his official account on X, the Blues are expected to land the 17-year-old for around €15m, though he won’t be arriving at Stamford Bridge until 2026.
See below for details from Romano as Chelsea close in on this deal for yet another exciting youngster, with the full package, including add-ons, and a sell-on clause for Corinthians, seemingly very close to being formally completed…
??? Chelsea are prepared to seal the deal for Brazilian fullback Denner Evangelista this weekend. 17 year old talent will cost €15m package add-ons included, joining the club from 2026. Chelsea fans will probably not know a great deal about Evangelista just yet, but it’s long been the case that many of the world’s best young talents can be found in Brazil, so they’ll no doubt have high hopes for the teenager.
Evangelista has also probably chosen well by going to Chelsea, who have shown a commitment under this ownership to trusting and developing young players.

Chelsea fans will no doubt hope that Evangelista can prove to be another big prospect for the club’s future, but the west London giants also need to show that they’re serious about the present as well.
There’s been too much chopping and changing under current owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, and it remains to be seen if their big gamble in investing in young players will work.
For the time being, it seems this patient approach, with the focus on the long term, is not really producing results on the pitch that can deliver silverware now.
CFC are a huge club and their fans have come to expect more than this, so there might have to be a change of approach at some point soon.
