Despite not yet being officially registered with Barcelona’s first team, summer signing Roony Bardghji is said to be remaining patient and confident about his place at the club.

The 19-year-old Swedish forward has received interest from other teams but is reportedly only focused on succeeding with Barça this season, dismissing any possibility of an exit.

Bardghji has already made a strong impression on manager Hansi Flick during pre-season preparations, with both his performances and professional attitude persuading the coach that he can be a useful contributor in the coming campaign.

A clear commitment from Roony

Bardghji has expressed his eagerness to adapt quickly to his new surroundings. On Friday, he featured for Barcelona Atlètic in a friendly match against AE Lleida, which ended in a 3–2 victory for the Blaugrana.

Sources close to the player have indicated to MD that Bardghji remains confident that his registration issue will soon be resolved.

The club recognizes the pressing need to resolve these registration matters and is actively working to free up space within the squad—not only for Bardghji but also for other promising talents such as Gerard Martin and Wojciech Szczesny.

To address the issue, Barcelona intends to utilize a €7 million financial guarantee recently approved by the board, supplemented by potential player sales. Among those who could depart are Inaki Pena, Oriol Romeu, and Hector Fort, whose exits would help alleviate the current regulatory constraints.

Despite the ongoing uncertainty, Bardghji’s determination remains unaffected. He is fully committed to making an impact under Hansi Flick and contributing to what he hopes will be another successful campaign for the club.
