When Liverpool faced Napoli in the Champions League group stage on this day in 2018, the Reds knew that they had to win with a clean sheet or by two clear goals to advance through to the last 16 of the competition.
Mo Salah got himself on the scoresheet after 34 minutes in front of the Anfield crowd, but as injury time beckoned, Napoli's in-form striker Arkadiusz Milik found himself one-on-one with Alisson and looked certain to crush Liverpool's hopes.
The Brazilian stopper had only made the move to Merseyside from Roma at the beginning of that season, but he made himself big to pull off an incredible save.
That stop allowed Liverpool to progress to the knockout stages, with boss Jürgen Klopp well aware of the role Alisson played that evening, and in helping the Reds to their sixth European crown in Madrid the following June.
