Bayern Munich qualified for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup through their strong performance in UEFA competitions over the past four years. From 2021 to 2024 they reached at least the quarter-finals of the Champions League and were therefore one of the first clubs to book their place.

Bayern Munich have a notable history in the Club World Cup. Their first triumph came in 2013 when they beat Moroccan side Raja CA in the final. Whilst their most recent win came in 2020, when they defeated Tigres UANL of Mexico1–0.
Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga for the 33rd time, regaining the title after Bayer Leverkusen's record-breaking triumph last time out. Vincent Kompany's men were less fortunate in Europe however as they lost to Inter in the quarter-finals.
Vincent Kompay has been in charge of the Bavarian giants since last summer and has recently guided the club to another Bundesliga triumph. This is just the Belgian's third coaching job, having previously managed English side Burnley and Anderlecht in his homeland.
Harry Kane is Bayern's star man and has been consistently brilliant since signing from Tottenham in 2023. The England international netted 26 goals in the German top-flight this season, making him one of Europe's deadliest marksmen.
Bayern Munich travel to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup as one of the favourites to win the tournament. They have been drawn into Group C alongside Auckland City, Boca Juniors, and Benfica but given their strong squad and recent form are expected to go far.
