Bundesliga – Malik Tillman, PSV to Bayer Leverkusen (£30.1m)

Bayer Leverkusen have banked a fortune this summer from the record sale of Florian Wirtz, reinvesting that fee with a club-record deal for Malik Tillman. The American arrives from PSV Eindhoven having scored 12 goals in last season’s Eredivisie title success.

Tillman also impressed in the Champions League with five goal involvements in six appearances. The midfielder will be tasked with replacing some of Wirtz’s influence on the side.

La Liga – Dean Huijsen, Bournemouth to Real Madrid (£50m)

Real Madrid made an early move to sign Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth, beating Premier League clubs to land the defender.

The 20-year-old earned rave reviews in his sole season in England, combining aerial presence with progressive passing and silky ball-carrying. A £50m release clause saw Real get their man.

Ligue 1 – Jonathan Rowe, Norwich to Marseille (£14m)

With Paris Saint-Germain yet to invest in their quadruple-winning squad, the biggest Ligue 1 deal of the summer so far comes at Marseille. Jonathan Rowe’s loan has been made permanent for a £14m obligatory fee.

The 22-year-old will hope for improved fortunes next season after starting just six Ligue 1 games in 2024/25. After winning the u-21 European Championship with England in the summer, he will return to France with confidence.

Premier League – Florian Wirtz, Bayer Leverkusen to Liverpool (£116m)

The biggest transfer of the summer by a distance. Liverpool have signed Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for an initial fee of £100m, potentially rising to a British record £116m.

The German has instantly been catapulted into the most expensive players of all time, alongside becoming the Bundesliga’s biggest sale. After back-to-back season’s as Germany’s Player of the Season, the Premier League welcomes a top talent.

Serie A – Nicolas Gonzalez, Fiorentina to Juventus (£24.3m)

Nico Gonzalez met the required clauses to turn his loan move to Juventus into a permanent deal.

However, after just three league goals last season, Juventus are reportedly already willing to cash in on the Argentina international. There has been interest in the winger from the Saudi Pro League.
