An insight into the lengthy list of reserve and youth team players called up by the first-team coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona for pre-season has been provided.
The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and confirms that no fewer than 10 extra players have been called up by Hansi Flick.
Barcelona of course kickstarted preparations for the fast-approaching 2025/26 campaign on Monday evening.
Fresh off a stellar term last time out, culminating in a domestic treble, the Blaugrana will no doubt be hopeful of a similarly productive season to come.
Yesterday evening, the Blaugrana’s star-studded squad, in turn, were put through their paces at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
The likes of Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Robert Lewandowski were all in attendance for the session.
And as alluded to above, such players were joined by a host of up-and-coming Barca-based talent, too.
As per a report from MD, the following reserve and youth team players were called up for pre-season training by Flick and his staff on Monday:
Landry Farré, Toni Fernández, Guillermo Fernández, Jan Virgili, Juan Hernández, Ibrahim Diarra, Jofre Torrents, Pedro Fernández ‘Dro’, and new signing Roony Bardghji.
Winger Dani Dani Rodríguez has also been called upon for pre-season, but remains in recovery from recent shoulder surgery.
