Chelsea believe new signings Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens are players who can make an “instant” impact according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues have been busy this summer and have already made three attacking signings with Liam Delap, Gittens and Pedro.
Chelsea could add another attacker to their squad, whilst the Blues are also thought to be in the market for a centre back to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Chelsea were in desperate need of a left winger given the departure of Jadon Sancho and the suspension of Mykhailo Mudryk.
The Blues agreed a deal worth up to £55m with Borussia Dortmund for Gittens, but the 20-year-old can’t feature at the Club World Cup.

Pedro, who will cost Chelsea up to £60m, brings Premier League experience and the Brazilian will be registered for the Club World Cup squad, with there an outside chance he could feature against Palmeiras on Friday.
Both Gittens and Pedro are talented players with huge potential, which is the Chelsea way in the transfer market under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake ownership, and Romano has shared why the Blues signed the pair.
“Chelsea believe Gittens and Joao Pedro are players that can make an instant impact but also have lots of room to grow into even better players, that’s why they decided to go for these two options,” he said on his Here We Go Podcast.
With four new attacking options added to the squad if you include Estevao Willian, and Chelsea thought to be looking at another attacker, one may have to leave.
