Jed Wallace may want to depart The Hawthorns this summer to get more minutes, according to FLW's West Bromwich Albion Fan Pundit.

West Bromwich Albion are yet to make a decision over who will take the club on in the dugout, with James Morrison still in interim charge at The Hawthorns as Baggies fans await news of Ryan Mason's expected appointment.
With several things up in the air, there could also be some players looking for a move away. The Baggies lost Carlos Corberan mid-way through the season as he went on to Valencia, before sacking former boss Tony Mowbray with just a couple of games to go as they would miss out on the play-off places.
West Brom eventually finished ninth in the Championship table, thanks to a 5-3 demolition of Luton Town on the final day of the season, a result that relegated the Hatters down to League One.
As such, West Brom will be heading into the summer with a bit of optimism off the back of that result, and the performances of the likes of Tom Fellows and Daryl Dike, as they seek to rebuild.
However, that rebuild may not include club captain, Jed Wallace.
Wallace joined the Baggies on a free transfer from Millwall in the summer of 2022, and he has gone on to make 125 appearances for the club.
However, he was able to make just 30 total appearances in 2024/25, which marked a significant drop-off from his 45 and 50 outings in his previous two seasons at The Hawthorns.
The 31-year-old attacker - who also played for West Brom’s Black Country rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers - missed the vast majority of the final couple of months through injury, but even before then, he had only made six starts in the league.
FLW’s Albion fan pundit, Callum Burgess, has explained why he believes the former Portsmouth midfielder may well fancy a move away from The Hawthorns this summer.
Burgess said: “I think he’ll have a few years left of being able to play at Championship level, but not at a promotion-pushing standard as he was a few years ago. I think after falling out of favour in one-and-a-half seasons, I could see Jed Wallace leaving.
“I think he’ll want to move to somewhere where he’s more of the main man, like he was at Millwall or somewhere he’ll be able to contribute more.
“Although he’s the club captain, I think he’ll have to settle for a bit-part role.”
In terms of confirmed outgoings at The Hawthorns, it has already been confirmed in their retained list that the likes of Semi Ajayi, John Swift and Grady Diangana will be leaving at the end of their contracts.
Several academy players and a few younger players with a handful of first-team appearances between them have also been released by the club, whilst the likes of Mason Holgate, Will Lankshear and Adam Armstrong have returned to their parent clubs at the end of their respective loan deals from Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton.
Wallace may well be another one through the exit door at Albion this summer, and there may well be a bit of uncertainty at the moment among a number of first-team players over whether or not they will feature in Mason's plans - if he is to be appointed, that is.
At 31 and heading into the final 12 months of his West Brom contract, this summer may well present as the last opportunity for the club to bag a respectable fee for him too.
