Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Bundesliga duo Stuttgart and Wolfsburg have enquired about Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stanković, son of Dejan, who spent last season on loan at Swiss Super League side Luzern.
Club Brugge have also shown interest in signing Stanković, who scored three goals and provided two assists in 40 games across all competitions for Luzern last season. The 19-year-old will return to Inter this summer, where he is contracted until 2028, following his loan spell in Switzerland.
Stuttgart are working on strengthening their squad after offering Nick Woltemade a contract extension, but they are resigned to losing midfielder Enzo Millot this summer, with the French midfielder reportedly having a €20m exit clause in his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and clubs from Saudi Arabia showing an interest in the Frenchman.
At Wolfsburg, they are entering a new era with the appointment of Dutch manager Paul Simonis as their new head coach. VfL are also working on signing Copenhagen’s Elias Jelert on loan with an option to buy.
