Tomas Soucek is understood to be heading for the exit at West Ham despite being a key player this season.
It certainly hasn’t been a campaign to remember in east London, with Spurs’ Europa League success capping off a disastrous 2024/25 season for all connected with the club.
However despite all the negativity at present, there is potential hope on the horizon, as Graham Potter looks to reshape the team and club this summer, as we enter a hugely significant transfer window.
Although a lot of attention will understandably be on who the club will be aiming to bring in, there is focus too on those leaving, with Aaron Cresswell, Lucasz Fabianski, Vladimir Coufal, Kurt Zouma and Danny Ings all confirmed to be departing.
There is now a strong suggestion that Graham Potter is set to sanction the sale of Tomas Soucek, who has been a light for the club during a very dark season.
The news will understandably concern many fans, although it does also suggest there is some confidence within Potter and Macaulay, that whatever they have planned, is enough to tell them its ok to allow the Czech to depart.
