Strong Inter push for Lens midfielder Diouf | OneFootball

Inter have pounced on Lens midfielder Andy Diouf and will discuss his transfer in an imminent conference call, aiming to close the deal as soon as possible.

Inter are moving forward in negotiations for Lens midfielder Diou, sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me.

The 22-year-old midfielder is valued at €20m and has been followed by several Italian and European clubs.

Inter, however, had made concrete steps forward in the last few hours and will make contact with the French club in the coming hours.

Inter ready to close Diouf deal

Representatives of the two clubs will continue negotiations in a conference call with Inter, aiming to finalise a deal as soon as possible, as they believe in Diouf’s quality and feel he’s ready for the next step in his career.

Diouf scored one goal and provided two assists in 34 Ligue 1 appearances last season.

His contract with Lens runs out in June 2028 but Inter are determined to bring him to San Siro as soon as possible.
