Arsenal wrapped up their season with a 2-1 win away from home against Southampton. Mathematically, the Gunners still needed a point to confirm second place in the Premier League as only an extraordinary - albeit highly unlikely - set of results on the final day could have denied them a third consecutive top-two finish.

Kieran Tierney, on his farewell appearance for the north London outfit, broke the deadlock late in the first-half as he turned home Ben White’s cross.
