A lot of players are expected to leave St Mary's this summer.
Teams from across the land and further are hunting down some of Southampton's prized assets this summer, but they won't come cheap.
The biggest sellers in the Championship this summer are almost certainly going to be the Saints. They were last time, raking in £145 million in revenue from departing players, and it's likely to be a very similar story with the talent on their books this time around.
Here is the latest round-up of all the Southampton transfer news.
The club's number one, Aaron Ramsdale, is expected to set sail away from St Mary's before the start of next season in order to aid his chances of being picked in the England squad for the 2026 World Cup. One of the clubs he had been linked with was West Ham United. They have now held talks with the goalkeeper, according to talkSPORT.
Graham Potter's options between the sticks will be depleted when veteran Lukasz Fabianski leaves the club when his contract expires. The manager is reported to be an admirer of Ramsdale, and the club has discussed a potential move with the 27-year-old.
Ramsdale moved to the south coast from Arsenal on Deadline Day of the last summer window for £18 million, plus up to £7 million in add-ons. He signed a four-year deal when he joined as is said to be on £100,000 per week.
The Saints would now be willing to take offers of £20 million for him, as per talkSPORT. It was previously reported by TEAMtalk that the Hammers would pay this amount for the shot-stopper.
Dragan Solak, the chairman of the newly relegated side, believes the club can make £100 million from offloading the goalkeeper plus Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Tyler Dibling this summer. Ben Jacobs has said that Tottenham Hotspur would be willing to pay £45-50 million for the teenager.
The only one of Southampton's best assets that isn't tied down to a long-term deal is Kyle Walker-Peters. His contract is up this summer and he will be free to move to whichever team he chooses to go to.
Brighton & Hove Albion are now in the mix to sign the versatile full-back, according to Sky Sports. This comes after Fulham and West Ham both had their interest in signing the Spurs academy graduate revealed.
The Hampshire outfit are looking at options to replace the 28-year-old. Sturm Graz's Scottish right-back Max Johnston has been linked with a £3 million move to St Mary's this summer.
Turkish reports have suggested that Trabzonspor want to sign two Saints players this summer: Jan Bednarek and Paul Onuachu.
The latter - Southampton's top scorer in the Premier League last season - spent the 2023/24 campaign with the Süper Lig club, netting 14 goals in 20 appearances. Trabzonspor are in talks to bring him back and they have also submitted an offer for the Polish defender, according to Gazete Gunebakis.
They want to secure the central defender for €3-4 million (~ £2.5-3.4 million), nearly half of the amount of his release clause of €7 million (just under £6 million) which has reportedly been activated as a result of the club's relegation to the Championship.
