Manor Solomon scored an incredible stoppage-time goal to hand Leeds the Championship title, as they came from behind to beat Plymouth Argyle 2-1 at Home Park.
The hosts took the lead through Sam Byram in the 18th minute, but Daniel Farke's side equalised after the break thanks to Wilfried Gnonto.
It wasn’t until deep into added time that Solomon made sure of the win, clinching the title for Leeds.
Burnley, who started the final day just behind Leeds on goal difference, were pushing hard to take the crown but fell short at the last. Both teams had already earned their place in the Premier League next season, but the race for the top spot and 100 points was still on.
With the Clarets winning 3-1 against Millwall, Leeds knew only a victory would see them finish top on goal difference. Solomon’s late strike did the job, and both teams ended the season on an impressive 100 points each.
Meanwhile, Coventry and Bristol City secured their spots in the play-offs. Frank Lampard’s Coventry claimed fifth place with a 2-0 win over Middlesbrough, while the Robins avoided a scare after coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against Preston, sneaking into sixth.
Blackburn Rovers were briefly in the play-off positions after leading Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, but their match ended 1-1, leaving them just short of the top six.
The play-offs are now set: Sheffield United will face Bristol City, and Sunderland will take on Coventry, all battling for a place in the Wembley final.
