Chelsea aren’t expected to sign a new goalkeeper this summer despite being linked with several according to reports.
The Blues have invested heavily on a number of goalkeepers over the past few windows, but it’s still proving to be a problem position for the club.
Chelsea signed both Filip Jorgensen and Mike Penders last summer, and the Blues are said to have high hopes for the young duo.
Robert Sanchez is the current number one after being dropped for a handful of games for making several high profile errors.
No goalkeeper has made more errors leading to goals in the league this season than the Spaniard, but he still appears to maintain the backing of Enzo Maresca, much to the annoyance of supporters.
Jorgensen has mainly featured in cup competitions, and despite a big error against Aston Villa many feel he should have been first choice for the remainder of the season.

Chelsea’s best goalkeeper is arguably Djorjde Petrovic who’s on loan at Strasbourg and currently excelling in Ligue 1.
The Serb, who’s been labelled world class by Liam Rosenior is expected to compete for the number one shirt next season.
Despite links to both Gregor Kobel and Aaron Ramsdale, Nizaar Kinsella has reported that as things stand the Blues won’t be looking for a new keeper this summer.
“As for a goalkeeper, so far the word is that Chelsea will not be signing one in the summer and will pick two of Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen and Djordje Petrovic to continue working with,” he told BBC Sport as cited on X.com.

“Also, do not forget Mike Penders is also highly rated. He is joining from Genk for £18m, but I suspect he will go on loan to build experience.”
The majority of supporters are unlikely to have an issue with Petrovic returning as number one, and in an ideal world Sanchez would be sold with Jorgensen competing with the Serbia international.
