Manchester United fans are desperate for Erik ten Hag to replicate the transfer stance he adopted at Old Trafford by signing players from his former clubs.
The ex-Red Devils boss was appointed Bayer Leverkusen manager at the end of May, having been selected to replace the Real Madrid-bound Xabi Alonso.
One arrival has already been finalised since he took the reins, with fellow Dutchman and SEG client Mark Flekken agreeing to leave Brentford for the German outfit.

Now, there are hopes he can take some of United’s deadwood off their hands, particularly the players he targeted who’ve left much to be desired in their respective tenures.
The likes of Andre Onana, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund are all available for sale this summer after failing to live up to expectations in M16 – and Ten Hag is said to be mulling over a reunion with one of the trio.
According to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, Antony is ‘on the list’ of Leverkusen’s targets, although as it stands, they are yet to formalise their interest with an approach or offer.
The Brazilian international is almost nailed on to be leaving the club in the coming months. Thankfully for INEOS, his value increased considerably when he oversaw a stellar loan spell with Real Betis from January to May.
Antony’s efforts in Seville led to him being dubbed a ‘player reborn’, given he looked worlds apart from the player who departed United without making a single Premier League start in the winter.
In the 26 matches he played under Manuel Pellegrini, the 25-year-old notched nine goals and five assists. He was influential in Betis securing a Europa League spot via a fifth-placed La Liga finish, as well as reaching the UEFA Conference League final, where they ultimately dealt defeat by Chelsea.
