Former Inter defender Milan Skriniar, now owned by Paris Saint-Germain, admits he would welcome a move to Napoli. ‘Stanislav Lobotka is one of my best friends, so it’s all open.’

The centre-back has long been linked with a move to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, especially as he already worked with Antonio Conte at Inter.

“Lobotka is one of my best friends, so we’ll see… It’s all open!” replied Skriniar.

“I would love to play with Lobotka, obviously. It is all open for me now. I am very happy for Hamsik, as he is a legend for Napoli and Slovakia, so playing in his testimonial will be a lot of fun.”

Skriniar joined PSG as a free agent in 2023 and six months ago was sent out on loan to Fenerbahce.

There have been suggestions he could try to renew that loan, make it permanent, or go back to the Turkish Super Lig for Galatasaray.

He spent much of his career in Serie A, first coming to Italy for Sampdoria in 2016, then moving to Inter for €34m just 12 months later.

His contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs to June 2028.
