Sheffield United have announced the departure of Chris Wilder, bringing an end to the 57-year-old's second stint in charge at Bramall Lane.
The Bramall Lane hierarchy re-appointed Wilder during the 2023/24 Premier League campaign, which ended in the Blades' relegation to the Championship.
Wilder then led the Yorkshire club to a 90-point total and a third-place finish last season in the second tier.
The Blades thrashed Bristol City 6-0 on aggregate in the play-off semi-final before losing 2-1 against Sunderland at Wembley in May.
In an official statement thanking Wilder for his contributions, the club confirmed a mutual decision to part ways with coaches Alan Knill and Matt Prestridge also departing.
Wilder previously managed United between 2016 and 2021 before leaving by mutual consent with the club bottom of the Premier League.
