Sevilla star speaks out on potential Aston Villa move | OneFootball

Sevilla star Loïc Badé has on Saturday spoken out on the ongoing speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League, with Aston Villa.

The name of defender Badé has of course proven a prominent one in the transfer headlines across Europe over the course of recent weeks.

This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the Frenchman had been identified as a leading transfer target on the part of the aforementioned Aston Villa.

The Claret and Blue, in turn, recently kicked into gear negotiations with their Sevilla counterparts, over the terms of a January deal.

Evidently, however, such talks failed to bear fruit.

Speaking to the media on Saturday evening, Badé himself was asked for an update on his potential move to Villa Park.

And the stopper made use of the opportunity to confirm that he will be going nowhere this month, fully committed to the Sevilla cause:

“I’m staying at Sevilla, yes. I fully trust this project.”
