League leaders Napoli will look to maintain their lead at the top of the Serie A standings in their third-last match of the 2024-25 season as Patrick Vieira and Genoa look to spoil the party at the Stadio Maradona.

Antonio Conte’s side has a three-point lead over Champions League finalists Inter at the top of the Serie A standings with three league matches left to be played in 2024-25.

Napoli have won five of their last six matches and are unbeaten over that run, and most recently inflicted a 1-0 defeat over Lecce last weekend.

Genoa were beaten 2-1 by Milan in their most recent Serie A outing, despite having claimed the lead against the Rossoneri.

Napoli have several injuries to deal with, including Alessandro Buongiorno, which means that Mathias Olivera is due to start at centre-back again, with Leonardo Spinazzola at left-back.

Stanislav Lobotka is not expected to start, which means that there could be an opportunity for Billy Gilmour in the midfield alongside Frank Anguissa and Scott McTominay.

David Neres is expected to travel with the group for the game but it remains to be seen whether he will have any involvement against Genoa. He is not expected to start either way.

Genoa are without Fabio Miretti, Ruslan Malinovskyi, Maxwell Cornet, Mario Balotelli and the suspended Morten Thorsby.

Vieira could also look to make a series of personnel changes after the Milan loss, including possible starts for Patrizio Masini, Vitinha and Honest Ahanor.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19.45 BST.
