Atalanta injuries are piling up, as Charles De Ketelaere and Mateo Retegui take on Torino’s Che Adams and Samuele Ricci.
It kicks off at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo at 17.00 GMT.
La Dea had struggled at the start of 2025 in both Serie A and the Supercoppa Italiana, but got back on track with a 2-1 win away to Como.
Atalanta also held Barcelona to a 2-2 away draw to book their Champions League play-off spot midweek, although it came at a cost, because Giorgio Scalvini dislocated his shoulder and will be out for three months.
He joins Ademola Lookman and Odilon Kossounou on the treatment table, but at least Isak Hien returns and Gianluca Scamacca is on the bench for the first time since tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in August.
Nicolò Zaniolo is left out of the squad ahead of his imminent move to Fiorentina.
Marco Carnesecchi pulled out in the warm-up, so Rui Patricio takes the gloves for Atalanta.

Torino have been trying to steady the ship lately and are unbeaten in five, even if four of those were stalemates, leading up to the 2-0 victory over Cagliari.
Injuries have been a constant problem for coach Paolo Vanoli, who is still missing Ivan Ilic, Mergim Vojvoda, Zanos Savva, Perr Schuurs, Duvan Zapata and Emirhan Ilkhan.
At least Ali Dembele returns from suspension and ex-Napoli midfielder Eljif Elmas was signed this week.
