RWD Molenbeek Brussels officially announced the signing of Usman Mamadou Simbakoli on Monday, July 14. The Central African-born striker has penned a three-year contract with the Challenger Pro League side, tying him to the club until June 2028.
Just a year after his move to Servette FC, the 23-year-old is packing his bags once again for a new challenge. During the 2024/25 campaign, Usman Simbakoli featured in 15 matches for the Swiss outfit, netting 2 goals before being loaned back to his former club, Etoile Carouge FC. There, he clocked up 12 appearances in the Swiss second division, adding 3 more goals to his tally. His performances caught the eye of scouts, and this summer, he makes the move to Belgium.
RWD Molenbeek, relegated from the Jupiler Pro League at the end of the 2023-2024 season, is banking on Simbakoli’s profile to rebuild a competitive attacking line and return to the top flight for the 2026/27 campaign.
