Romano: Milan ready €15m+ offer for Tottenham full-back who wants move | OneFootball

Emerson Royal has ended up at the top of AC Milan’s wish list for the right-back position. After the first offer was rejected, the Rosoneri are now preparing a new offer and the player is pushing for the move, a report claims.

A few days ago, it was reported that Milan’s offer of €14m for the Brazilian full-back was rejected, with Tottenham asking for around €20m. Since then, the Rossoneri have been evaluating their options and it seems they will make a new attempt.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan are preparing a new offer which will be worth over €15m. This should be presented next week as talks continue between the clubs. The player, meanwhile, wants the move and has already agreed on a five-year contract.

It remains to be seen if Milan can get the deal over the line, with the management keen on securing a strong right-back for Paulo Fonseca. The captain Davide Calabria has struggled in recent years, at least in terms of consistency, and it will be interesting to see his reaction.

Should Emerson Royal arrive and become the starting right-back, then the captain’s armband will be worn by Theo Hernandez instead.
