Roma to secure Gabriel Sara from Norwich City after completing Le Fee’s signing from Rennes | OneFootball

Roma want to further reinforce Daniele De Rossi’s midfield.

The Giallorossi boss asked the club for more depth in the midfield with players capable of dribbling and cutting into the opponent’s penalty box.

As a result, Roma have shifted their attention to two names – Enzo Le Fee of Stade Rennais and Gabriel Sara of Norwich City.

While talks are ongoing between Roma and Rennes to complete a deal for Le Fee, Giallorossi director Florent Ghisolfi is also planning to launch talks with Norwich for Sara.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma will try to sign the Brazilian midfielder in the coming days.

Sara represents the ideal depth signing for the capital club; the midfielder is fresh off an impressive season marked with 14 goals and 13 assists, an important tally that Roma could certainly benefit from given their goal-scoring woes in the midfield this past season.

Sara has already been placed on Norwich’s transfer list.

In the next few days, the player will join Norwich’s preseason training but with the clear intention of leaving the English club in this summer window.
