Roma to present definite project of Pietralata stadium in spring 2025 | OneFootball

A decisive technical meeting is scheduled today for the project of the new Roma Stadium in Pietralata, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Giallorossi, together with the local authorities, are working to resolve the last details related to the infrastructure, with the aim of arriving at the presentation of the definitive project in the spring of 2025.

The main issues on the table are three: parking, traffic and the construction of the cycle/pedestrian bridge on Via Livorno.

These aspects, crucial to guarantee the functionality and accessibility of the facility, must be filed down to ensure that the stadium complies with the required standards both in terms of sustainability and urban mobility.

Newly appointed executive Nicholas Gancikoff is directly following the stadium dossier for Roma, and coordinating the activities to move the project forward.

The new stadium will have a capacity of 62,000 spectators and will represent a significant investment, with an estimated cost of around 1 billion euros.

The ambitious structure will be fundamental for the future of the club and for the development of the area surrounding Pietralata, a strategic neighborhood in the capital.
