Roma need to turn a profit by June 30th to comply with a Financial Fair Play settlement and are gauging the interest in Evan N’Dicka. His sale would be highly beneficial, considering they signed him on a Bosman move.
According to Sky, the Giallorossi have decided to keep Mile Svilar despite the challenging talks to prolong his contract. The parties have gotten a little closer in recent weeks. Plus, he has two years on it. Angelino was close to Al-Hilal in the early June window. However, the deal didn’t materialize. The Saudi outfit will sign Theo Hernandez instead.
Per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Quotidiano Sportivo), Roma offered N’Dicka to Real Madrid for €40M, but the Spanish giants weren’t interested in those numbers. The capital club maintains optimism that it could reach its goal without such a meaningful departure, making only some moves on the fringes.
Leandro Paredes is once again close to Boca Juniors, which can sign him for about €3.5M. Trabzonspor and Rennes are targeting Eldor Shomurodov. Getting about €10M for him would go a long way. Tammy Abraham and Saud Abdulhamid are also very available.
It’s unclear how much money they need to collect precisely, but it’s reportedly not a massive sum, so shipping off a starter should be the last resort. He might not be super athletic and polished in handling the ball as Gian Piero Gasperini prefers, but he’s very dependable and diligent. A couple of Serie A powerhouses with a need in the back should kick the tires on him. They accomplished their objective by parting ways with a few prospects in previous instances, and it could easily occur again.
