Roma prepare second bid for Rennes midfielder Enzo Le Fee | OneFootball

Roma are working to finalize a deal for Rennes midfielder Enzo Le Fee.

The 24-year-old Frenchman is likely to become Roma’s first signing of the summer and the first major reinforcement for Daniele De Rossi’s squad.

The capital club’s opening bid for him was denied by Rennes.

The Giallorossi had offered 15 million euros, but Rennes turned it down, asking for 20 million instead, the same fee they paid a year ago to Lorient for Le Fee’s transfer.

As a result, Corriere dello Sport reports that the Giallorossi seem to have convinced themselves to raise the proposal which will be presented in the next few hours.

Roma director Florent Ghisolfi will put 18-19 million euros on the table, including (easy) bonuses; an offer that Trigoria considers more than adequate for the value of the player who, among other things, wants a change of scenery.

Le Fée has already reached an agreement with Roma and is just waiting for the green light from the agents to take a flight to Rome.
