There is good news for Roma, as tests showed the injuries to Mats Hummels and Bryan Cristante are not serious.
The pair limped off during the second half of last night’s 2-0 Serie A defeat to Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico.
There were concerns that this could add to the crisis at the club, who suffered a fourth consecutive loss in the league.
However, today it was confirmed that tests showed no muscular lesions for either of the two players.

Defender Hummels will need a couple of days to fully recover from the strain and should be back on the pitch against Lecce this weekend.
Cristante suffered a slight ankle sprain, but there was no serious damage and he too could be available for the next competitive match on Saturday December 7.
The situation with midfielder Cristante is a little more uncertain and it remains to be seen how he recovers over the next few days before a decision is made.
