Roma optimistic about Svilar’s renewal

Mile Svilar is proving to be decisive in this sensational rise of Roma towards fourth place. The Belgian goalkeeper is performing miracles on miracles and also in the last match against Raffaele Palladino’s Fiorentina he saved the result on several occasions.The former Benfica player’s contract expires in June 2027 but the goalkeeper has already expressed his desire to stay in the capital, provided that his salary is adjusted. At the moment Svilar earns 1 million per year and the first offer from Florent Ghisolfi was 1.6 million, an offer considered too low by the player’s entourage.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the agreement has not yet been reached but optimism is filtering through for the success of the operation. The two parties could agree on a salary of around 3 million euros.
