Roma nearing new deal for Mile Svilar

Serie A side Roma have witnessed their star goalkeeper Mile Svilar get linked with a host of clubs in Italy and abroad but now, they are inching closer to handing him a new contract.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Roma have not given up at all in their hope of handing the Serbian a new deal and now, they have made key progress in their move. They are close to agreeing a deal that reaches the demand of €4 million per season using bonuses.

A new meeting is expected between the two parties and that can help the Roman club is making sure that the new contract is all but done and final details are sorted out.

Milan have been linked with the goalkeeper in the last few weeks and he is seen as a replacement for Mike Maignan. But for now, the Frenchman is staying at the San Siro.
