Roma have reportedly made an important step forward in their contractual negotiations with Mile Svilar.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport writes, the two parties have gotten significantly closer in recent days, thanks also to the presence of Dan Friedkin who spoke at length in Trigoria with the player in question.
The club has thus decided to raise the initial offer for a new contract: from 2 to 4 million euros per year.
The new proposal seems to be the one Svilar will be ready to accept.
It is a sum that confirms the club’s desire to continue with the MVP of the season of Ranieri’s team, the man who kept them afloat in stormy moments.
There are still some details to iron out, especially the issue of the termination clause: for Svilar’s men it must be around 40 million, Ghisolfi would like to raise it to at least 50. It’s a matter of negotiation. Details that will not compromise the agreement.
