Roma are considering the sale of Manu Kone, after reports from Italy claimed that Inter are keen on the 24-year-old French midfielder.

According to what has been reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, via TuttoMercatoWeb, the Giallorossi are open to the sale as it would help them secure speculated moves for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho and Aston Villa forward Leon Bailey.

Kone has been a strong performer for the Roman club but his sale could be considered for the betterment of the project.

Inter swoop for Kone as Roma plot moves

Inter have emerged as a strong suitor for the 24-year-old. The Nerazzurri would like an additional midfield signing and Kone fits the profile that Chivu wants.

Roma see Kone as a key player and thus expect his valuation to reflect that. The reports claim the two clubs are in negotiations over said value and some other reports from Italy have suggested the Giallorossi could expect close to €50 million for the French international.
