The Serie C campaign for Mister Bonera's Rossoneri is coming thick and fast. After the away fixture against Torres, it's time for the second away match in a row, this time away to Rimini on Monday evening at 20:45 CEST on match day five of the league. It's a chance to measure our progress, learn and give all that we can: let's take a look ahead with the usual Match Preview:
LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO Still a work in progress as we look for our first win. The feeling is that every game is showing itself to be a chance to grow, to gain experience and to understand this competitive and usually indecipherable league. Bonera's side can come away from the game in Sardinia with their heads held high thanks to the attitude they showed, as well as the display they put on, responding to everything that a team near the top of the pile had to throw at them. The defence was solid, soaking up lots of pressure and managing to keep a clean sheet, however, in attack there is definitely room for improvement considering the amount of goals scored so far (only one). The team's dominance in play is not lacking, we need to insist on higher levels of precision and solidity.
LATEST FROM RIMINI Rimini share the same position and amount of points as the Rossoneri. It's been a difficult start in terms of points, and the schedule is not getting any easier: Carpi (2-2), Virtus Entella (1-2) e Pescara (0-1) the current league leaders, Lucchese (2-2). The draw in Tuscany showed a problem in Buscè's team: leaving itself open to late comebacks and conceding goals in the dying stages. In Lucca, despite being two goals up, the opposition managed to recover in stoppage time: Pescara and Carpi managed to do the same, striking late on. The Romagnoli were promoted through the playoffs, eliminated in the round of 32 and are now in the last-16 of the Coppa Italia. Attention definitely should be paid to Cernigoi, Garetto and Ubaldi.
"We still haven't understood that we need to concentrate at all times - said Buscè -, I need to make the team understand that we can't switch off. Unfortunately, our results are showing that we can't find that win, I'm sorry because we don't deserve to be in this situation and place in the table."
