There is a massive gap between Inter Milan and Galatasaray in talks for midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu this summer.

Today’s print edition of La Repubblica, via FCInter1908, report that the Turkish side have offered €15 million, whilst Inter are insisting on €35 million.

In the last couple days, Galatasaray have finally approached Inter Milan to try to sign Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkish champions’ interest in signing the 31-year-old is certainly no secret. It hasn’t been for weeks.

La Repubblica confirm that the offer Galatasaray have made Inter is around €15 million.

And that is simply nowhere near what the Nerazzurri want for Calhanoglu.

La Repubblica report that Inter have told Galatasaray that they are holding out for around €35 million for the Turkish international.

Therefore, the gap between the two clubs currently stands at around €20 million.

Galatasaray’s opening bid is less than half of Inter’s asking price. And there is little indication that they will raise it significantly.

Therefore, La Repubblica report, it looks unlikely that Inter will sell Calhanoglu to Galatasaray.
