Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Randal Kolo Muani ended after the French striker chose to join Juventus over a move to the Premier League this past winter transfer window.
The 26-year-old has struggled to make a major impact during his first two seasons at PSG, leading to speculation about a possible transfer this month.
Kolo Muani has played just 453 minutes across all competitions this season and hasn’t managed to secure a regular starting spot. His absence from PSG’s last three matches of 2024 has only sparked more uncertainty regarding his future at the club.
TBR Football reported that Tottenham was ‘gutted’ to miss out on Kolo Muani. However, the Premier League side did secure an alternative attacker right before the winter window closed.

After missing out on one French striker, Tottenham managed to land another, signing Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich. Spurs secured the young forward on loan for the rest of the season in the final hours of the winter transfer window, making him their fourth signing of the window.
Graeme Bailey, chief transfer correspondent at TBR Football, reported on Monday, citing sources, that Tottenham staff are absolutely thrilled behind the scenes in N17.
The club feels their efforts over the past 24 hours have secured one of the standout deals of the January window. They also see the loan move for Tel as one of the best signings made anywhere in Europe this month.
Tottenham maintain they never lost hope, with the striker’s camp consistently giving them confidence that an agreement was possible.
Overall, Spurs view Tel as a “generational talent”—someone they believe can flourish under Ange Postecoglou.
