In a recent press conference, Juventus manager Thiago Motta closed the door on a potential return for Adrien Rabiot (29) to the Bianconeri. The France international midfielder is a free agent and is currently without a club after his contract with the Serie A club expired in June.

Rumours around his future continue to circle with a potential return to Juventus one of the potential moves linked with the former PSG midfielder. However, when contacted by L’Équipe, Rabiot’s mother and agent revealed this was never an option. Véronique Rabiot said, “There is no need to close the door, returning to Juventus was not an option considered. When we make decisions, we take responsibility for them.”

His future is to be decided in the coming days

L’Équipe understands that the French midfielder’s future is to be resolved in the coming days. With the transfer window closing around Europe, the 29-year-old’s options would be diminishing but as he is a free agent he can still sign for clubs after the window has closed. The midfielder has been linked with moves to Galatasaray and Manchester United.
