Jadon Sancho has become a shock target for Turkish giants Galatasaray according to reports in Turkey.

The Blues are once again set for a busy summer and could look to fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight players.

Chelsea face a critical window with the club looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.

Sancho a shock target for Galatasaray

There’s expected to be movement in the wide areas this summer, with Noni Madueke attracting interest, whilst Chelsea are yet to decide if they’ll pay the £5m penalty fee to send Sancho back to Manchester United.

Sancho is currently on a season long loan from United, with an obligation to buy for around £25m, but he’s had a very mixed season.

The 25-year-old started well with a man of the match performance on his debut, and three assists in his first three games.

However, a difficult spell post Christmas has thrown his future into doubt, although Sancho has picked his form back up in recent weeks, and has four goals and ten assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.

Turkish journalist Arda Ozkurt has reported Galatasaray are investigating the situation surrounding Sancho, but there’s no mention of anything being imminent.

Sancho has also been linked with Bayer Leverkusen recently, and he’s played the best football of his career in the Bundesliga.

Gittens, Rogers and Williams on Chelsea shortlist

The Blues have Brazilian sensation Estevao Willian arriving after the Club World Cup, whilst Geovany Quenda will arrive from Sporting Lisbon in 2026.

Nico Williams has been described as a “dream” target, whilst the Blues are said to be in pole position for Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Gittens.

Interest has emerged in Morgan Rogers in recent weeks, but Aston Villa are said to want £90m for the England international.

The most important thing is the Blues bring in someone who improves the starting line-up and not just another young up and coming player with potential.
