Report – Lille Rival Premier League & Turkish Clubs To Sign Out-Of-Favour Inter Milan Star | OneFootball

Lille are reportedly joining clubs from the Premier League and Turkish Super Lig in targeting Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi.

This according to Iranian football reporter Hatam Shiralizadeh. He reports in a tweet that the French club have come forward to inquire about the 33-year-old’s situation.

It has seemed inevitable for months that striker Mehdi Taremi would leave Inter this summer.

The Iranian is not a part of the plans under Cristian Chivu.

However, so far there has not been a decisive move by any club to sign the Iranian.

The likes of Botafogo and Flamengo reportedly tried to bring Taremi to Brazil. However, he rejected them, preferring to stay in Europe.

Meanwhile, there has been interest in Taremi from the Premier League. Both Leeds United and Fulham have reportedly targeted the 33-year-old.

According to Iranian football reporter Hatam Shiralizadeh, the interest is still there in Taremi from the Premier League and the English top flight.

However, Shiralizadeh also adds another club to the list of those targeting the Iranian.

According to the Iranian reporter, Lille are keen to bring Taremi to Ligue 1.

Lille have already signed former AC Milan and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud. But they may be ready to make another big name attacking reinforcement with plenty of experience.
