Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi has been at the centre of a number of transfer rumours in recent weeks.

The 33-year-old had a very underwhelming first season at Inter. Therefore, there is a widespread feeling that he will be on his way after just one year at the club.

Reportedly, Porto, Besiktas, Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Leeds United, and West Ham United are all eyeing up Taremi.

Inter would like to sell the Iranian international on for a fee. This would still represent a capital gain, since they signed Taremi on a free transfer twelve months ago.

According to FCInterNews, Taremi will not be among the players arriving at Inter’s training ground this weekend.

Nor was he one of the players to make early returns this week along with others who missed the Club World Cup.

That in spite of the fact that the rest of the squad is expect back to begin preseason training.

However, FCIN report, this is not necessarily because Taremi is consider to be on the market.

Rather, Inter have granted the 33-year-old some extra vacation time.

That is because of the fact that Taremi had been stuck in Iran last month during airstrikes by Israel.

Therefore, after that stressful experience, Inter have allowed the striker to take some extra days of vacation.
