Report – Inter Milan To Rekindle Interest In Atalanta & Brazil Star After Agreeing Zalewski Transfer | OneFootball

Serie A runners-up Inter Milan could reportedly revisit their interest in Atalanta star midfielder Ederson toward the end of the summer.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri have not given up hope of signing the Brazilian.

Despite being initially priced out of a move for Ederson, Inter may re-establish talks with La Dea soon.

Indeed, Atalanta’s staggering €70 million asking price deterred the San Siro club from pursuing Edesron earlier this summer.

However, negotiations could soon resume.

Although Inter pulled out of talks to sign Ademola Lookman, they could still do business with Atalanta.

Furthermore, the clubs have already agreed terms for Nicola Zalewski to continue his career in Bergamo.

In doing so, they may have laid the groundwork for Ederson’s switch to Giuseppe Meazza.

However, the 26-year-old’s high price tag remains a sticking point.

Inter had considered Ederson as Hakan Calhanoglu’s replacement before the Turk’s move to Fenerbahce fell through.

Now, they could use the money from Benjamin Pavard’s sale to pair up the two elite midfielders.
