Inter Milan are reportedly considering making a new offer for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman after a failed first bid.
According to La Repubblica via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are willing to test La Dea’s resolve with an improved proposal.
Despite agreeing personal terms with the player, Inter have yet to reach an agreement with Atalanta.
Indeed, the Bergamo club’s €50 millon asking price has proved a major stumbling block.
Meanwhile, Inter’s €40m offer has failed to meet Atalanta’s valuation.

In addition to rejecting Inter’s cash offer, Atalanta refused another proposal from the Nerazzurri.
Cristian Chivu’s side tried to insert Sebastiano Esposito as a counterpart in the deal.
However, La Dea turned them down.
Now, Inter could return with an improved bid worth €45m plus €5m in add-ons.
With Ademola Lookman pushing for a move, this could do the trick.
Yet, if it doesn’t work, Inter will turn to other targets.
Juventus’ Nicolas Gonzalez has emerged as the first alternative alongside Napoli’s Giacomo Raspadori.
