Chelsea have offered Strasbourg’s Ismael Doukoure a transfer to the club this summer according to French outlet L’Equipe.
The Blues are set for another busy summer and have already secured the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich for £30m, but they are also looking for a centre back and right footed attacker.
Chelsea face a critical window and could look to fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight players, with a number of squad members now surplus to requirements.
Whilst the Blues may well add another striker after Delap they are also in the market for a centre back and have been linked with the likes of Marc Guehi and Jarrad Branthwaite.
There’s set to be movement in the centre back department with Renato Veiga, Axel Disasi and Trevoh Chalobah reportedly likely candidates to leave.

However, they could be looking to sign another centre back from their sister club, and L’Equipe have reported the Blues are interested in Doukoure.
The report states Chelsea have offered the 21-year-old a transfer this summer, and along with Sarr and Emmanuel Emegha he’s one of a few players highly valued by the Blues.
L’Equipe add Doukoure is attracting interest from a host of clubs in England and Germany who have already made enquiries.
Doukouré has just one year left on his contract and made 32 appearances in all competitions as Strasbourg secured qualification for the Conference League.
It’s not just a centre back Chelsea are looking at, and they have also identified the need to get cover for Marc Cucurella.
The Spaniard is currently the only natural left back in the squad and the Blues would have a major problem if he got injured.
