Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hoptspur have not come close to Inter Milan’s offer for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, report that Bayern’s offer is for a €5 million paid loan with a €28 million purchase option.
This summer, Ademola Lookman was at the centre of the soap opera of the transfer window.
Inter Milan had made an offer to Atalanta to sign the 27-year-old.
As the Gazzetta dello Sport note, the Nerazzurri’s initial bid was €40 million. Atalanta rejected this.
Then, Inter raised their offer to €45 million including add-ons. Then once again, La Dea turned this down.

The Nigerian international made a public transfer request. Then, he no-showed training for a couple weeks.
However, Atalanta’s stance remained firm. They did not want to sell Lookman, and would not even give Inter a counteroffer according to reports.
Therefore, the former Leicester City and Fulham player has remained an Atalanta player.
Now, on deadline day, there are some reports of last minute interest in Lookman.
Reportedly, Bayern Munich have made Atalanta an offer. They have put forward a €5 million paid loan deal, which would also have a €28 million purchase option.
However, this is far from even the first offer of €40 million that Inter had made.
Furthermore, the Gazzetta dello Sport report, Tottenham Hotspur have also sounded out a move. However, they would want a loan deal, while Atalanta are insistent on a permanent sale.
