According to Tuttosport, Atalanta have opened preliminary talks with Juventus for Nico Gonzalez, who is seen as a potential replacement for Ademola Lookman.

The latter has already agreed to personal terms with Inter, and the Nerazzurri are in talks to lower Atalanta’s €50m asking price.

As per Tuttosport, Atalanta have opened preliminary talks with Juventus to sign Nico Gonzalez, who failed to justify his €33m price tag with five goals and four assists in 38 appearances across all competitions in his debut season at the Allianz Stadium.

Atalanta were already interested in Nico Gonzalez last summer, before the Argentina international left Fiorentina for Juventus.

The Bianconeri have made Francisco Conceiçao’s loan move permanent, so they need to sell Nico to raise funds for Jadon Sancho.

Nico Gonzalez has also attracted interest from Al-Ahli, but Juventus have yet to receive a formal bid from the Qatar-based club.
