Rennes are set to pull off an unexpected deadline day move for Hellas Verona midfielder Ayanda Sishuba (20), according to reports from Foot Mercato and Le Parisien. Rennes are now set to sign five players today with Stuttgart centre-back Anthony Rouault, Cercle Brugge winger Kazeem Olaigbe, Montpellier centre-forward Mousa Al-Tamari, Marseille midfielder Ismaël Koné and now Sishuba.
The former RC Lens Academy product joined Hellas Verona last summer, but the Belgium youth international never featured in Serie A so far. Sishuba’s sole contributions for Verona are limited to scarce appearances for the U20 Primavera side. Rennes have reportedly agreed a deal this Monday with Verona to offer Sishuba a return to France. Sishuba could make his debut for Beye’s Rennes next Saturday at Saint-Etienne.
