Now that the pesky international break is, thankfully, out of the way, we Celtic fans can dust off our scarves and banners and re-align our thoughts in the direction of the pointy end of the season.
I’ve probably said it before, but, I hate these dreadful fortnights, and the fear of having our best players crocked by some nonentity from Boredomistan. This time it’s Kasper, and, in a bid to convince you I’m right, here’s my rationale. Our Great Dane will possibly/likely miss the most important matches of the season, the title win, and should we beat St Johnstone, the Scottish Cup Final.

Why? Because he adhered to an offside rule which could only have been dreamed up by the village idiot.
Celtic are at home to Hearts on Saturday, and, if we win our next three games, we effectively clinch the title. To do so we need all hands on deck, but, the safest pair will be in the stand nursing an unnecessary shoulder injury.

The Celtic players may well view this game as redemptive being that it’s the first one since, you know what, against, you know who. (For Harry Potter fans, this may ring a bell!). I’m certain the first eleven will be desperate to shed the stone in their shoe which has been paining them recently, the stone of pride.
Brendan will be in their shell-like beforehand, the returning Calmac too, and, I’m confident the Gorgie outfit will be sent packing back east-bound along the M8 with their goals for and against stats in severe deficit.

We were all stung – embarrassed even – by the events in Paradise a fortnight ago. Tomorrow, in a bid for redemption, let’s make some noise for the Bhoys, and drive a juicy stake thru the Heart of Midlothian before getting our teeth into another Treble
Let’s hear Redemption Song for the Bhoys!
Hail Hail!
