Real Madrid’s 3-1 win over Stuttgart earlier this week was closer than the scoreline suggests. After all, it took two late goals for Los Blancos to register the dominant lead.

The third goal on the night, in fact, came in the sixth minute of added time off the boots of the team’s new signing Endrick who audaciously struck from distance and beat the goalkeeper.

The youngster now has two goals for the men in white despite not making a start and has made a very strong case to see regular action.

Endrick’s goal meant that he became the youngest player to score for Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, breaking a long-standing record held by club legend Raul Gonzalez.

First start in sight

As revealed in a recent update by AS (h/t The Madrid Zone), Endrick will get his first start for Real Madrid very soon.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti has taken notice of Endrick’s prompt contributions and lethal finishing and is considering handing him a full debut as early as Saturday.

The youngster is thus expected to start for Real Madrid against Espanyol on Saturday or at most against Alaves next Tuesday.

Given the team’s relatively poor start to the season, Ancelotti is reportedly considering some tactical tweaks and changes in the starting lineup.

Moreover, the hectic schedule demands regular rotations which are expected to come into play in this weekend’s clash against Espanyol.

All signs thus point to the Brazilian having a big role in the upcoming games although it remains to be seen whom he replaces in the XI.

After all, Vinicius Jr. is the player out of form but benching the Ballon d’Or favourite so early in the season may not go down well.
