Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes is staring at an uncertain future this summer, having lost prominence within the team in recent months.
Initially, it was expected that his situation might improve once Xabi Alonso took charge as manager. However, that has not been the case as the 24-year-old attacker has been reduced to a bit-part role at the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup.
Multiple clubs such as Arsenal, PSG, and Manchester City, are understood to have taken note of his situation and are keeping a close eye.
Real Madrid, for their part, are understood to be open to a sale if suitable offers arrive, although there have been no proposals so far.
Now, according to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, in case Rodrygo ends up leaving, Real Madrid do not plan on signing a replacement for the Brazilian international.
Los Blancos believe that they have enough depth in the squad to cope with the 24-year-old’s exit, if it does happen this summer.

Franco Mastantuono has been signed from River Plate and the teenager will join the team next month once he turns 18 years old. And Xabi Alonso plans to use the youngster on the right flank.
Meanwhile, Brahim Diaz and Arda Guler have also proven themselves capable of playing in that position if required.
Another option for the Real Madrid manager happens to be teenage striker Endrick, with reports suggesting that Alonso wants to try the 18-year-old on the right wing next season.
As such, if it so happens that Rodrygo, whose camp has held preliminary talks with Arsenal, does end up leaving, Real Madrid do not plan to bring in a replacement.
The only signing that the Spanish giants are targeting currently happens to be SL Benfica left-back Alvaro Carreras.
