Real Madrid unveil Player of the Month candidates for December | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday unveiled the shortlist for the club’s Player of the Month award for December.

And the list is a star-studded one.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are fresh off a largely positive month in December, which saw them secure victory in five of the club’s seven outings across all competitions.

These results included important wins over Atalanta in the Champions League, and Mexican outfit Pachuca in the final of the Intercontinental Cup.

And considered to have played more prominent roles than any others in as much, as alluded to above, are a quintet of players.

As per a release across social media on Sunday, all of Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Rodrygo and Antonio Rüdiger have been nominated for the Real Madrid Player of the Month prize.

Midfielder Bellingham, fresh off being named La Liga’s best for December, is considered the early frontrunner for the award.
