A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has sparked concern across the club’s fanbase on Wednesday.

The player in question? Arda Güler.

Xabi Alonso’s squad have of course now reconvened in Spain’s capital, to ramp up preparations for the season ahead.

After being afforded a well-earned rest following their exploits at the Club World Cup, Real Madrid’s stars reported for pre-season training this past Monday.

Amongst the group to have been spotted in attendance at Valdebebas was the aforementioned Arda Güler.

After playing a leading role for Los Blancos in the USA this summer, the midfield starlet is expected to be pushed into an increasingly prominent place in new boss Alonso’s XI over the season ahead.

In turn, it marked a concern for those of a Real persuasion, on Wednesday, upon photos of Güler in training coming to the fore online.

As showcased below, the Turkish international was spotted sporting heavy bandaging on his right leg earlier today:

It is as of yet unclear if Güler is dealing with some form of fitness problem.
